OPENING DAY / STIMULUS CHECK NEWS
The IRS is behind schdeule, but we don't have to be. Our offices in Milton and Perdido Bay are open, and we are preparing tax returns already. The IRS will begin processing tax returns on February 12, 2021. This is a little later than usual, but if you want to be in the first batch of returns to be processed, give us a call or email and we can get your tax returns finished early.
WHERE IS MY STIMULUS CHECK?
If you did not receive a stimulus check last year, and you were entitled to it, it is reconciled on your tax return. This means your refund (or balance due) will be adjusted in your favor by the amount of the payment you should have but did not receive to make it right. Just let us know how much you received - if nothing, maybe you get some better news on your tax return.
